Dear Fellow Hall of Fame Members and Supporters,
These are very exciting times for the Mustang Hall of Fame
and its members.
First, this is an induction year and as
usual, we will be inducting athletes, coaches and community
supporters to our Class of 2008. The ceremony will take
place at the Irish –American Hall on November 23. There are
many out there who are worthy candidates who have either
never been nominated or not had their bios reflect their
true athletic accomplishments or their contributions to the
Medford High community.
This is where you come in. We need
nominations. The nomination forms can be found at our
website at mustanghalloffame.com and at Medford City Hall
and the main branch of the Medford Public Library on High
St... The nominations can be forwarded up until June 30th
when the nomination process for this year’s class will
close.
Second, the Board has voted to support the Phelan Award
which is given annually to the best male athlete at Medford
High. This is a $1000.00 scholarship and a trophy that we
have elected to support. This is a very ambitious endeavor
as we are a non-profit organization that does not collect
dues for membership or inclusion.
We Need Your Help!!!
In order for us to maintain this award, we are asking the
members of the Mustang Hall of Fame and supporters to reach
into their wallets and give a little something back to the
school. We have had great success from the members in the
past with donations to the Showcase fund and other worthy
causes. This is a scholarship the Board would like to
perpetuate. We’re asking for you to send us what you can.
